After a decent enough sleep in the hotel - regardless of the walls being so thin we could hear the man next door turning the pages of his book - we headed off on the metro to pick up our race packs from the Expo. We queued for a good 20 minutes / half an hour to get into the expo but once we were in it was a relatively quick process to hand in our medical certificates and pick up our numbers. A little bit of shopping was done before we headed off to be tourists.
We visited the Eiffel Tower before heading down some streets for lunch. Next we headed to the Arc de Triomphe where a funeral was being held - we're guessing some sort of state funeral or military related? While climbing the steps inside I managed to somehow injure my knee. Just in time for the marathon tomorrow... Grand.
