CanCarrier's blip today reminded me of something from years ago, 56 years ago I think, when I was at guide camp somewhere in the south. A friend and I made up Egg language and spoke it to each other, and of course the other guides didn't understand what we were talking about.

Egg language was created by inserting the word 'egg' before every vowel and we became very quick at both speaking to and understanding each other. You can imagine what fun this was for a couple of twelve year olds, but the ridiculous thing is that I can still do it without too much bother!

Heggave yeggou eggevegger deggone egganeggythegging seggimeggileggar?
