In the garden for a short time in morning before too hot for me. Rested afternoon.

Heard Carlo Bonomi - voice of Pingu has passed away this week.

Also today Raymond Briggs - illustratør, storyteller, animation & poet, kept children & adults going thru his books & especially the memory of The Snowman every year at Xmas. And with less & less family to share over the years. Don't know how many times I've watched The Snowman & of course the Irn Bru Snowman Ad showing many Scottish landmarks.

Ethel & Ernest on tonight TV which was quite emotional & his picture books were so good.

I remember Fungus the Bogeyman as a kid.

Finished the night with Shetland crime drama.

Mini cherry showing autumn colours, something maybe due to the hot dry weather, but have had a few cooler evenings. The drying hot sun might mean it loses some of it leaves.
