MM449….quirky/peculiar

This isn’t particular peculiar but a little quirky perhaps.
As I pulled into the driveway on returning from the pool, this plump kookaburra was sitting in our verge tree. Unusual. We looked at each other (I was on the phone to #2 son) so I decided to snap a photo. On phone. Photo from phone. I think my son thought I was bonkers!
Once he’d finished posing he was off! The bird, not the son ;-)
