It's been 2 years, 11 months, 3 weeks and 1 day (or 1,088 days), since I last saw the contents of this mobile home. Daughter Kate, Hubby and the two grandchildren have arrived after a long journey from Cavan in Ireland.

On Friday, they took the overnight ferry from Dublin to Cherbourg. On Saturday drove to Rouen. The original plan had been to stay in Paris for a couple of nights to visit Disney World, but it was so hot, temperatures edging 40°C, that the decision was made to get to us as quickly as possible. So Sunday got close to French German border near Strasbourg. Finally today, via Karlsruhe & Stuttgart, to us, arriving at 15:14.

Extra photos: Looking like pale lobsters, it wasn't many minutes before they were cooling off in the pool. In keeping with tradition, we then went to the local Pizzeria in Sontheim for our reunion meal.

Someone went to bed very, very happy.
