Good Together

That was the title of this gorgeous card, which was sent to us by my fellow blipper and oldest friend, whom I’ve known for 63 years. It was the perfect card and she knew I’d love it, because it delightfully illustrates the close relationship that Smithers and I are fortunate enough to have shared for the past 51 years. I feel so blessed in having such a good friend in her, as well as such an amazing husband. 

We’ve had our middle son (the birthday boy) and his family here this afternoon and now that they’ve all gone home we’re relaxing for the evening, having chatted to our other two sons as well, so it’s been a very happy and enjoyable day.
