Three for the price of one

As Poppy and I were going through the gate into one of the Pollok gardens a gentleman with a camera told me that there were butterflies on the very ragged looking Ox-Eye Daisies.

He was right. Quite a number of Red Admirals and Small Tortoiseshells flitting about but I had to wait till we reached the fast fading Buddleia before I saw the Peacock.

Fell asleep this afternoon and missed most of the King's visit to Ireland .... I always thought it was just babies and the elderly who needed an afternoon nap!
