Yeah, but you should see the other guy

Mimi had a bit of a run-in with a wasp while cycling yesterday. It looked quite spectacular today. 
And Nana suspects that she got bitten by a spider (or three very big midges with great simultaneous attack coordination skills). 
All them bastard insects thingies and other creepy crawlies. Tsk, I ask you... If it was up to me, I'd spray the whole lot with a generous dose of DDT. Ok, ok, it would be a bit of a bummer for asthmatics and frail people but one cannot make an omelette without breaking larvae. 

Great afternoon-evening at the Baudsons. Aine's vegetable curry was delicious. So delicious that I forgot to ask where the meat was. That delicious. 
The kids had a great time together, as always. It seems like yesterday when they were all under the age of 6 and already having the craic together. The only difference is that there were more tears back then, but always a lot of laughter too.
