Day One

I picked Síofra up from the shelter this afternoon. She is still quite nervous and doesn't like getting into cars and took a little persuasion. I had it in mind to take her for a beach walk, so I did and afterwards sat with her for a while calming her down with a good rubbing before trying the car again.
Got her home and she's been settling in since..
