Desperately seeking

Yesterday I was saying that I'd gate-crashed a Craft Group in the village hall. Today we had #2Daughter on Zoom and we were telling her about it and that I'd said I should take my tapestry along. Being only 38 she had never seen the tapestry! "Where was it?" she asked. "In the wardrobe!" I said. Keep in mind that, since then we have got rid of 2 wardrobes and moved the other into another room and brought my mum's into the house. "You won't know where it is now" she said. Well, I rise to a challenge like that and got up to look for it.

I was back in a moment and got a huge surprise. The tapestry was further on than I thought and was better than I remembered it. "But do you still have the wools?" she asked. As it happened, in the bottom of the plastic bag there were my designs drawn to scale on graph paper and a little Liberty bag (from a trip with the Girl Guides to London in 1976) containing all the skeins of wool.

I am motivated now! I hurried out to take a new photo of the property - quite different. No irises in the garden, or bleeding heart, or hebe pagei pinguifolia or lavender.

This morning we went to our wholesaler for some janitorial supplies and bought a 5* top-of-the-range new mattress for the lodge. Hopefully, that will put an end to complaints about the memory foam one.
