One day at a time

M6

Heading north for two nights in the Grange-over-Sands area on the way home and I was just thinking how well we were doing on the M6. Then an overhead sign warned on an obstruction in one of the four lanes and we then ground to a halt. With the engine off we sat motionless for 20 minutes. Mrs S decided to put the kettle on which was enough to ensure we soon got moving again. The lorry (or wagon if you are from the North-east) to the right was towing a refrigerated trailer. I was adjacent to its control panel and noticed that the contents were being kept at -26.4C which is pretty cold. I would have tried to take a more interesting blip but we are in the teeth of a gale and it is raining so have hunkered down.
