Liceasto, Isle of Harris

We caught the lunchtime ferry from Uig, Isle of Skye, to Tarbert, Isle of Harris. It snowed on Harris yesterday and we arrived in the Outer Hebrides to heavy rain and strong winds! We very quickly realised that our tiny tent wasn't going to be much fun wild camping without a cooking shelter so we headed straight for a campsite in Liceasto, via a very windy road taking us through a crazy lunar type landscape!

Once at the campsite we quickly upgraded ourselves from a soggy tent pitch to a yurt complete with wood burning stove - total glamping! I loved it!
