Rememberence Day Service

We were up bright and early this morning to attend our town's Remembrance Day church service and parade afterwards. It was very well attended and the parade was wonderful and moving with so many men, women and children marching past representing the armed forces, our key services and many more key organisations including Cadets, Guides, Brownies and more. Good to see so many friends and familiar faces who we spent lots of time chatting to along the way.

My blip shows some of the parade, a bit of lovely crochet in the churchyard and in the middle Mr HB's parents; sadly he never knew his Father who lost his life in Italy in 1944 when Mr HB was only 2 years old.

Mr HB wore his Father's medals with pride.
