Not a very interesting day, at least it did not rain.

I made a batch of 36 Les cornuelles (french type shortbread biscuits) this morning.

Watched a bit of snooker in the afternoon, Ding Junhui is through to tomorrow’s final.

After tea I prepared dinner.  Some of yesterday’s roast heated up in gravy. Served with sweet potato and taro cooked in coconut milk and Chard cooked with onion in crème fraiche not forgetting 6 roasted Spanish chilies (not too hot, they just have a gentle bite to them).  We did have a tot of cognac afterwards.

Thank you for the kind comments and stars on my Marsh/Willow Tit, I did see it again today, but how am I supposed to hear its voice through the window, I will never discover which it is!

I hope that you all have a good and restful Sunday. Take care, keep warm if you live in the North, keep dry if you live in Eastern Scotland, and keep cool if you live South of the Equator.
