Red cyclamen hiding by the hedge

I decided to rescue this red cyclamen in its rather bedraggled state from a sheltered but now overgrown site by a hedge close to the house. I'd rather forgotten about it and other plants had begun to envelop it, which in fact it doesn't seem to have minded. Although it has been untended since last winter it has doubled the number of its leaves and flowers.

I brought it inside to remove the dead and damaged leaves and seed heads and put it in a more obvious place outside the patio doors where we can enjoy its beautiful colour again.
