Tree of Life

This beautiful carved stone feature is on the exterior elevation of the House for an Art Lover in Bellahouston Park.

The carved relief depicting "The Tree of Life" is located above the terrace. Designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh as the competition design for the House for an Art Lover in 1901.

This superb carving was produced by stonemason Jack Kennedy from the interpretive drawings by Graeme Robertson, 1990-6.
