Gabriel Grupello

This morning back to Castle Erenstein. (continued from yesterday).
I remembered that there was a nice bust. The conditions were still favorable. So a quick photo.

Gabriel Grupello
Sculptor of international renown. Worked for various dynasties throughout Europe.
Born in Geraardsbergen (B) in 1644.
Lived from 1724 at his daughter in Castle Erenstein. And there is deceased in 1730.
He was buried in the St. Lambertus in Kerkrade.

The bust was designed and created by Alexander Taratynov.
