The Lozarithm Lens

I had an NHS eye test on the far side of Chippenham at 0930 hr, and actually made it there on time. I was able to read all but the very lowest line of the letters chart (admittedly with my glasses on, but still) and my eyes were in better shape than six months ago.

After a bit of shopping in Lidl next door while my eyesight returned to normal after the eyedrops they'd used I drove on to Lacock, arriving shortly before they opened at eleven. As usual I walked up the path to the Rockworks first, as the path there is where the visiting Smokey-alike cat is most likely to be found, but yet again he wasn't to be seen. I am told he has been recently seen there.

The blip was taken from the east side of the grounds, next to their deep pond. It is hard to tell where the River Avon ends and the flooded fields begin. When I left a free Waitrose cappuccino in Melksham beckoned.
