Estuary Sunset

I don't know if you were watching BBC2 (UK folks) last night. Lots of Tina Turner including one of those talking heads documentaries where people (many too young to have been there) talk over the film clips. It reminded me that I'd been approached by a researcher who'd found a piece I'd written about the early days of the club where I used to work as a DJ back in the 60's and 70s. One of many acts to appear were The Ike & Tina Turner Revue. They say if you remember the 60s, you weren't there.  If I don't remember it wasn't much to do with hallucinogens it was because it was long time ago and there was just too much else going on. Anyway, that was the documentary they still managed to make without my help!

I went out this afternoon to Shaldon Bridge and photographed the sun going down with the railway lines shining and a couple of dead boats on the foreshore.
