Minor catastrophe.

-10 C was just too much for this cleistocactus in the greenhouse. It had some added protection and I thought it had not gone below -5C but clearly that was too much for it.

Never mind. I always view the loss of a plant as an opportunity making space for something new.

A very grey damp day. Took a pile of no longer wanted Ordinance Survey maps and some music to the Oxfam Bookshop. A big pile for Blipper Penally to sort. She volunteers in the shop.
