Tiles.

I like a colourful tile. These are not real. It's a sticker- well it's on a roll like fablon. I have used this permanent sticky backed plastic on various projects now and it is excellent.  It is extremely durable.  People use it to refurbish their kitchens and it can be heated and stretched. It is also heat resistant.
