What a difference a day makes

A chilly start to our walk but then the sun made an appearance, lifting the mood & surroundings.
Coffee back at Mum's then doctors appointment in Chudleigh. The doctor was great with Mum, explaining the results of the blood tests. He did a simple memory assessment which she struggled with. A 3 month course of folic acid, & vit D, then a reassessment. After which a possible CT scan which Mum agreed to have, & referral to the Memory team/clinic. A satisfactory outcome. From there we went across to M as she'd messaged me to say she had my money for the gold. A very quick result. She transferred it into our bank account minus her £50. Next stop pick up Mum's prescription from the chemist, Grabbed a few bits from the Coop then back to Mum's.
Home for lunch, Bayz, popped by, a drinking buddy of John's who arrived back from Oz yesterday. Next I tackled the ironing pile, which took all of 20 minutes. :-)
Stripped the meat off the chicken carcass, popped the carcass in a pan for stock. Made chicken & mushroom pie filling. Made pastry. Pastry resting, filling cooling. Time for The Chase, my meds, & a glass of cider.
Made 3 pies, prepped veggies, finished off making dinner.
