Incoming Tide

This evening I walked around the estuary aka the Kaiteriteri Inlet. I trod the bush-clad section and then the open road edging the estuary. At the road bridge the tide was beginning to rush in and fill the seaward side of the estuary where people love to swim, paddle, and enjoy a myriad of water-based activities. It was late evening and the light was rather lovely. We’ve had visitors to our campsite during the day. It has been great to catch up with camping friends of old.
