misty orchid along the Braden river

I have been enjoying the blooming of this orchid. It looks wet from me misting it with a spray bottle of water to keep it happy. ;O)

My friend paula gave it to me when we visited Selby Gardens in Sarasota, Florida, last March. I planted it with another dark plum dendrobium orchid I had also purchased from the Selby garden shop . . . they are so beautiful. I have found out that orchids enjoy being outside in the shade under our pergola. An extra photo shows the dark plum orchid and see more blips of orchids I've posted here.

It is fun to play with my camera again! 
Note: Rower on blip also visited Selby Gardens with me in 2016, when he traveled from Australia to the USA for his photography work. It was a blip meet across the continents!
