A bird in the bush

A rather grey afternoon walk ..... not too cold though the breeze was a little nippy!

We saw quite a large flock of mainly Fieldfare with a few Redwing mixed in with them ... unfortunately they were quite a distance away across the field so I didn't manage to get a photo ... great to see them though :-)

This little Robin was huddled in the branch ...... we had just put some seed down & it was waiting for us to leave.

I loved the 'over the shoulder' look .... it was a must blip :-)

I did manage a better count today .... I must have lulled them into a false sense of security with trying to do the count yesterday! Not as many as I often see but a reasonable number!
