Snowdrops in Taylor Park, St Helens

Had a walk in Taylor Park this morning. I knew the snowdrops were due to be flowering and I know where to look for them. They aren't visible from the paths and only if you wander into the bushes and trees will you spot them. I noticed the daffodils are well up and the bluebells are popping up everywhere. I love this time of year.
Great day for drying the washing as it was sunny and breezy.
terry had his appointment with the physio and it wasn't to maul with his hip, thankfully. she said it's the worst hip she's ever seen and he deserves a medal for putting up with pain. She told him that it needs operating on right away really as it's so bad ie bone on bone but of course there is a waiting list. however, she said that because it is so bad, she thinks the surgeon would do it as soon as possible. She is referring him and he should hear within 6 weeks and will be able to choose his surgeon / hospital as he did for his other hip. He would like the same surgeon, Mr Ems - brilliant guy. I don't know how long he will have to wait but here's hoping it won't be as long as we were dreading.
Not cancelled our holidays yet as we have plenty of time to still do that but will probably cancel at least one of them soon.
