Narrow Neck (again)

I delivered another load of horse feed today to my neighbour Jean who has the last property on Nellies Glen Rd.
This is from Jean’s shed looking up at Narrow Neck. Now my interest in the history of NSW shale mining has irritated isbi for 44 years now but for those interested, the western portal of the Mount Rennie tunnel is in the middle of the thumbnail at the base of the cliff. This formed an integral part of the 10km cable railway to and from the Glen Shale mine in Nellies Glen (1880 -1903). I’ll bore you all with that story some other time!
