New Snow

Storm Otto is here, having caused some havoc in Scotland and southern Sweden. It seems to be treating us more gently and so far has merely laid 15 cm of new snow over our half-meter of old snow. It makes the world a softer and more lovely place and turns it into a fairly monochrome place. (I included the red shed just to indicate it actually is a colour photo.)
This is a lot less snow than forecast, and while it turned windy later in the day, and blew most of the snow down from the trees, the disruption is much less than the warnings indicated.
I'm happy with that.
