Forced Creaminess

I've found another way to blur movement, but without having to use a long exposure.  I took 10 photos about 3 seconds apart before stacking them in Affinity Photo.  To avoid the movement of any other object showing as blur I used a separate layer to isolate the water's exposures but to use only one photo for the remainder of the scene.  You can see where I have stopped my brushing of the mask – where the water suddenly becomes sharper on the right of the scene.

It's not as creamy as a long exposure, but if I used more exposures it would probably do the trick.

And in the Extra, two chaps in waders thrunged around in the mud of the harbour at low tide.  One of them seemed to be looking for the plug . . .
