First through the door

A lot of today was spent at home but about 3pm we rushed to B&Q before it closed so that we could pick up some bathroom sink taps. We will need them next weekend to replace the problematic dripping taps in the flat on The Island. After we bought them we stopped off at Kristy Kreme on the way back for a donut that was eaten with a cup of tea when we got home.

At 6pm we were on a train and then walked across the river to Brasserie Zedell for another in the Crazy Coqs presents series. Tonight was The West End Sings Disney.

For some reason the option to reserve specific seats has been removed from the booking site and I had to email to request our regular corner. We thought we’d aim to arrive early to try to blag our space if we were not offered it. We ended up arriving early enough to be the first customers through the door and were offered our usual seats. But it was nice to see the empty venue. And, as usual, a wonderful selection of songs by some very talented singers.
