Jenny's Ginger Tom.

I turned the alarms off last night and had a good long sleep waking up to snow.  Not much though and I thought it wasn't quite as cold.  Mind you, still not warm. A phone call from the bathroom people. I need to go in, see the final figure and pay a deposit but Mark has jury duty next week so it may be the week after. It's going to be June before they get to work. Had a good day, I did exercises, sent British Gas my meter readings, tidied the drawers in my kitchen table, Roomba'd upstairs and hacked down yet more ivy in the garden. Decided it was a photograph the birds day  but when I went to the kitchen window there wasn't a bird in sight. Instead Jenny's ginger tom from across the road was eyeing up the feeders on the clothes pole trying to work out how he could get up there. He wasn't pleased when I spotted him but posed nicely just the same.  Afterwards I settled on the sofa with my usual cuppa and bought a couple of cheap cushion covers to rest my head on when I'm lying there.  Then spent money on geraniums from a specialist nursery.  You can tell where my priorities lie.  But they'll last a lot longer than the cushion covers and will flower all summer. They'll see me out as my old next door neighbour used to say. It's turned into a bit of a catch phrase now.
