Cottons

In my day I used to do a lot of sewing.  I don't really use my machine these days and the last time I think it was making Winter coats for Hamish last year.  I still have a lot of the cottons which I keep for the odd occasion when I need them.

In other news Maggy and I visited the hospital today.  It was busy with comings and goings.   Bread was baked in the morning and slices eaten for lunch.  Not much else was achieved today and it's been pretty miserable with a good fall of rain (hooray).
