Patient Patients Needed

Our son Andy has been suffering since Wednesday evening and was feeling ill enough to stay with us last night. This afternoon he decided it was time to visit A&E so I took him in and stayed for the duration. 

A case of viral gastroenteritis was diagnosed, with fluids and painkillers administered intravenously. On the positive side all blood results were satisfactory. Since there's no more that could be done if he stayed in overnight, I've brought him back to ours. It's now a matter of gradually getting him back to full strength (one small sip at a time).

The NHS team were brilliant.
