Conspirecy Theory

On my official travels to Greenock today, job done by lunchtime, so took a moment to wander.
Greenock is a quirky, interesting place. If you look heavenwards, it is all tall spires and interesting buildings, as in today's effort. If you look at ground level, it's not so inspiring, and you could be in any one of half a dozen similar sized Scottish towns.
I expected these buildings to have a rich history, but was kind of disappointed. The spire on the right is atop Greenock Sheriff Court (very jazzy for a sheriff court, I thought). The spire on the left now graces a furniture store, though it has the look of an older, town council type property.
Every day's a school day. :-)
