March On The Mono

A walk round Corstorphine Hill Cemetery before getting some shopping on way home.

Quite a few folk there today. The glory of the snow star flowers are out now & the daffodils too. Good patches of red dead nettle & spotted a tree bumblebee on lungwort flowers.

The sun was out giving shadows of the trees but was pouring by the time I came out of the shops to go home.

Got a 10p bunch of daffodils that were due to be binned, as out of date, but many were still buds, cut a good couple inches off the bottom & in water. Happy to give them a home for a few days then add to my compost bin.
