Chaffinch Again

It wasn't going to be another bird today, and certainly not another chaffinch, but how could I resist? It's so blustery that most of the little birds are sheltering in the undergrowth but this one was bravely at the top of a tree.

The four year old arrived promptly at 07:00 this morning. We were at the swimming pool shortly after 09:00. It's quiet then with the school groups in the big pool, leaving the fun pool and teaching pool for us to enjoy. We spent time in both before sitting in the cafe for a while watching people on the climbing wall.

Although it's windy it's dry so I think we'll be in the garden this afternoon before I go to Wednesday yoga, the four year old goes home and we have an early night!
