Bracken

It was a nice sunny spring morning today - if a little chilly in the wind! This bracken frond just asked to be photographed…I really liked the shapes and it seemed to stand out from the background as the sun shone on it.

I also spotted a few fresh dandelion flowers - so I captured one of them as well (see extra). Once again I used the macro function of my new lens..it seems to work remarkably well.
