Jumble of boats at Allington

A dire day. Cold with heavy rain. We had an early appointment with the Kia garage to trace faults with the tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and inconsistent charging results with both with limited success.

I still don’t understand why the TPMS is so sensitive and why it couldn’t be reset it once the tyres have been checked. I couldn’t get a coherent answer about the charging issue either. The person who could explain it to me wasn’t there and will ring tomorrow.

We delivered a huge bag of shredding to be disposed then drove to Waitrose to park to walk into town in the teeming rain. We’re mad but were dry on the inside. Had a coffee, did some shopping and walked back in the still teeming rain.

We decided over the past few months that the house needs a bit of a makeover so we spent what was left of the afternoon compiling an extensive list of jobs from major (windows and boiler) to minor (repairing a fence). The list was prioritised and actions agreed.

Played our respective instruments this evening. Gosh am I struggling to get to grips with picking tunes (or any sort of picking for that matter)
