An Avid Lensman

Chimney Pots, Cathedral Spire & Telegraph Pole

Always like how Salisbury Cathedral Spire catches the early morning light and despite being a mile away, here, can be juxtaposed with far more ordinary items with a long lens.

Goes to show that telegraph poles are never exactly upright!

Lens is Tamron SP 70-300mm f4-5.6 VC.

Salisbury's International Arts Festival starts tomorrow and runs for just over two weeks. Whilst I'm not due to be photographing anything specifically for official purposes, I always make the most of any opportunities, especially the free and public events. Therefore, Blips may well concentrate on these. All quite unpredictable and obviously no promises either way!

Yesterday's pre-dawn Church tower and blue swirly sky got into the Spotlight - Thanks to all who helped get it there.

Look in LARGE here.
