Glen Cova

Second back blip from our trip. This time a landscape from the van where we were camping overnight in Glen Cova outside Kirriemuir. Lovely evening light, we had a round trip through Glen Cova through wonderful rural roads , uphill, downhill and twisting for most of the way. This was the spot we liked best.

A lovely thing happened to us while we were here. We had forgotten to buy more matches for the gas cooker in the van and went back t Kirriemuir to see if could find a shop open. A bit of a problem so we went into a pub where the landlord gave us his gas lighter with the long handle and told us to handit in to the local shop across the road from the pub on our way back in the morning. Wasn't that really trusting and kind!

have to say we found thepeople of Angus very friendly and helpful wherever we went.
