A zigzag sort of day

Fun though. A back blip to Saturday.

The first view, over the Cromarty Firth, has Mrs Oons and me en route to Culbokie, to one of the Black Isle  community markets. Next, fresh fish, French patisserie and and Venezuelan baking having been bought, we are en route to a book sale in Rosemarkie. From this viewpoint you can see across to the mountains of Wester Ross. Third the book sale itself, organised in support of the Groam House museum after the Chairman was convicetd of embezzling the museum's funds.

On the way home I took the pretty way to a viewpoint where you can see across to the Cairngorms, and into Morayshire. Mrs Oons said "oh look, it's sunny in Nairn". I said "how do you feel about going over for lunch?" Nod.

U-turn. Lunch was had. Antiques were looked at. An 1821 print by an important engraver (says Mrs Oons)  was bought for buttons. Not a bad day, all told.
