Tree Peony Opened

She's looking lovely and not minding the daily rain and cold! She will get a test of cold hardiness on Sunday night when the temps. are supposed to go below freezing both on the F. and the C. scales.
Can you believe that it is supposed to be nearly June??
Now the regular bush peonies are showing good sense and keeping their buds tightly closed... could be Nature is telling us something.
Also, someone pointed out to me that her cat has not started shedding its winter coat yet... could be Nature knows something else?
Will clivate change mean two weeks of summer from now on?
