Cromwell's Tower

This clock tower is in Cromwell Road Inverness. I blipped it a few years ago as we were sitting next to it in a huge traffic hold up and here we were again . The bridge was closed due to an accident so we queued all the way to the bridge and were turned round . Foloh went round by the football ground thinking we could get onto the old road home but  hundreds of others had the same thought.  We left Inverness at 14.10 and we got home at 17.35 Normally a 15 minute journey.

There is quite a lot of information about the fort and tower on line. I liked the entrance sign  but of course it is for the storage units next to the tower. I hope I am not passing it again for a long time.
