"Fairies Along The Water"

I visited Amwell Nature Reserve this afternoon in search of dragonflies and met a young man who was trying to get some photographs. I explained how dragons often return to the same perch and staked out a few possibles for him, indicating when he should shoot. He was delighted to get some good shots and I got a couple too.

I have decided to post this pic of three pairs of azure damselflies. Technically it isn't very good but I like the feel of it. It reminds of Arthur Rackham's (Serpentine) Fairies Along The Water. I love his illustrations.
