It's what you get when you pick the best blip-desperate thing in your garden after the sun sets on a very stressful week. You take your newly-favorite 105mm macro out for a quick walk, knowing that dinner is 5 minutes away, and out of the corner of your eye a glint of spotlight reflection captures your interest.

BACKGROUND: In a fit of creative frenzy one night I repurposed slats from some loading pallets into signage. We are learning such cool things about our 5 acres, that I thought to put signs on them for a bit to remind us what was living there. The sign in this image is one example. I was quite fanciful in making them, patterning them after Disney World's Splash Mountain, themed after Song of the South. Just some happy fun, looking for my Laughing Place.
