Mackintosh's Italian Dinner

Just back from a fabulous evening we organised at the Mackintosh Church. As part our special evening, between courses, Dr George Rawson took us on a trip, where we followed Mackintosh's 1891 sketching tour around Italy.

Tonight was also an opportunity to discover the culinary 'Heart and Soul' of Mackintosh's Italy with Chef Peppe. The dinner started with Arancini di Napoli, our main dish was Pollo in Teglia di Padova and the dessert was a stunning Gelato e Biscoti Amaretti di Palermo. This was a real Italian treat.

We were fortunate that Sarah Perricone was at the dinner and she went round the tables playing some beautiful Italian Arias on her violin.

Another amazing evening at the Mackintosh Church.
