lettuce

instead of tossing the ends of my green leaf lettuce (that i buy for my rabbit) i put them in shallow ceramic dishes & some water on my patio.

one of them started growing this out of the centre...

the green leaf lettuce is so pretty, really wavy sharp corners, i love how cute they are on my patio.
