The fool on the hill

Everything dies

I wouldn't by any means call myself a Michael Jackson fan but the man was truly a talent that is rarely seen. He was born a year before me so his music was always around during my youth - and how can anyone not like I want you back?
It's a shame he had such a troubled existence.
everyone keeps saying he changed music. Maybe he helped change music marketing - but surely not music.
I'm just listening to Glastonbury coverage on 6 Music and It sounds like 5 Live except they are talking about acts instead of football and they keep putting on those CRAP trailers voiced by some silly bint with a resolute and faintly threatening voice trying to sound techy sexy savvy. But she sounds like a twat. I just don't want to hear these people analysing the music scene and basking, in a lifestyley way, in the reflected "glory" of the musicians. And no, it's not that I'm getting old - its that they are too pretentious for their own good. And they only played one Neil Young song and countless Bloc Party ones which where, frankly, and in comparison, rubbish but obviously more "hip".
Okay, finished.
