Two images from the beach today, overlaid and tweaked a little.

I actually went down there to get some record shots because the sea wall/defences and promenade are being upgraded. It was first built as a job-creation scheme in 1922-23 and since then has been patched and patched and patched, This week, the contractors moved onto the foreshore and started building sandcastles on a mammoth scale.

However, I felt this combination was more interesting.
