Above Bixter

Every visit to Shetland should include a panorama at some point in its blippage. I took this first thing as we drove down the way to find the most northerly lifeboat station in the UK, which is apparently highly blippable. Later on we had a fairly disastrous walk on a peninsula that didn't want to be walked, and then we chilled at the cottage this afternoon before a couple of beers in the pub, whilst taking some more pictures of The Gap in the Hills.

More Shetland pictures are here.

Yesterday evening, we drove down to Lerwick for a mini Shetland (plus visitors) blipmeet consisting of Pringle, Life at 60 degrees and ZE1 Christie. I'm eagerly awaiting the latter's blip for today, as he put a picture on Facebook earlier on of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt in the Shetland Museum....

Or possibly just ghosts....

Anyway, it was lovely to get together with these Shetland blippers.
